Release notes#

This page contains release notes for Anaconda.org and Anaconda Client, the command line interface (CLI) tool used to add packages to Anaconda.org.

Anaconda.org#

3.0.3 - 2023-01-03#

  • Install instructions now use the conda install <channel>::<package> format instead of the conda install -c <channel> <package> format.

  • In “I forgot my Username” form, added error message that prompts users to add an email address if they fail to do so.

  • External links in Project pages now open in new tabs.

  • Package release records in some API responses now no longer appear if all package files for that release are removed from Anaconda.org.

  • Fixed user interface issues caused by very long artifact file names in Storage.

  • Fixed missing search suggestions in groups.

  • Artifact count in groups now updates properly.

  • Fixed issue where multiple warnings appeared when setting an invalid package label.

  • Fixed some incorrect links for pip install instructions that were causing 500 (invalid server) errors.

  • Users can no longer upload packages named “projects”, to avoid interfering with the redirect link to the projects detail page for packages.

  • Email verification is now required for users’ first login to Anaconda.org. Previously, users were automatically logged in after registering, but before verifying.

  • Removed option to make packages private for users without a paid plan.

  • Fixed missing or obsolete license information on package details page.
